Music and performance is a huge part of my life and capturing the energy and artistry of live performance is a dream every time I get to do it. Do you shoot other styles?
I'm so interested in working with various types of people and businesses. While the above styles are my primaries, I'm open to any kind of shoot you want! Real estate, headshots, couples portraits, families, surprises proposals (this is my favorite), you name it! Let's chat!
Do you have a studio?
I do not own a studio, but I work with a variety of reasonably priced studios. If a studio shoot is desired/necessary, the rental fee will be included in my pricing.
What education do you have?
I have a Bachelor degree in video production, which is closely related to photography. I actually learned photography first!
How did you get started in photography?
When I started college, I bought my first camera and went to work. I began with a 52 week photo challenge and definitely did not complete it. However, I kept shooting and learning, and now I think I'm pretty dang good at it! I adore working with people to bring their visions to life.
What’s a recent project you're fond of?
I did a headshot shoot with a beginner actor who was super nervous and was convinced she wouldn't like any of her photos. I did everything I could to make sure she was comfortable and could be free and have fun during our session. We ended up with some AMAZING photos and she found several she loved! That shoot took about 2 hours and I delivered the photos to her within the week.
What happens once I contact you?
After the initial inquiry, I will schedule a call with the you to learn what exactly you are looking for and to discuss pricing. Then, once the deliverables and pricing have been agreed upon, we will set a date for the shoot and then, well, we'll shoot!
